Large Integrated Care and Village Facilities

These facilities mix the enjoyment and lifestyle of (independent) retirement village living with the peace of mind of knowing rest home and/or hospital care is available on the same site if your health needs change. |

Large Care Facilities
|
Generally located in the suburbs of larger urban centres, these facilities offer compassionate, high quality rest home and/or hospital care. This is often provided in conjunction with other senior care services such as respite care, carer support, and palliative care. |

Integrated Care and Village Facilities
|
These mid-sized facilities for seniors offer retirement village and rest home options on the same site. Hospital level care is often offered as well. The independent living (retirement village) side of these facilities often revolves around a close-knit community of residents of 10 -15 cottages or villas. |

Care Only Facilities
|
Many of these facilities are in heartland New Zealand and play a very important role in their local communities. The balance are handily located in suburban pockets of larger towns or cities. All focus on delivering rest home and/or hospital care that is compassionate and of a high standard. |
