The residents who live independently enjoy an active social life.

For example, the residents’ committee organises a range of regular activities. These include: Summer BBQs, trips and events, such as mid-year and end- of- year Christmas dinners.

Residents also make use of a large community centre which includes include bowls, a large spa pool and a billiards table. The community centre also has a library which once a month acts as a church.

"Continuum of Care"

The rest home and hospital on the same site offers quality care in a warm, supportive environment with Registered Nurse cover 24 hours a day.

There are 49 rest home beds and 43 hospital beds. Gracelands also offers residents home cooked meals, cooked fresh.
